Changelog

Every release shipped to Recron.

  1. Feature

Talk to your research in Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini — MCP is live

Add Recron as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any MCP client. Your assistant reads your briefs and answers questions about them.

Two paths to connect, depending on the client:

    • OAuth, paste URL only — claude.ai, Claude iOS, ChatGPT, Gemini, and any MCP client with a custom-connector dialog. Sign in to Recron, click Allow, done.
    • Personal Access Token — Claude Code, Claude Desktop (via mcp-remote), OpenAI Responses API. Generate a PAT from Settings → MCP and pass it as an Authorization header.

Four tools your assistant can call:

    • list_crons — every cron you own
    • list_runs — paginated history with previews, scoped to one cron
    • read_latest_run — full digest of the most recent successful run
    • search_runs — keyword-search a cron's past digests

Manage connections at Settings → MCP. Read-only access; OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, audit-logged.

Reach out at hello@recron.ai with feedback or tool requests.

  2. Feature

Memory alerts — only email when there's something new

Compare each run to your last 5 — Recron skips the email when nothing's new and sends a focused delta when there is.

  3. Feature

Insights — themes, trends, and headlines per cron

A weekly themed summary of any cron's recent output — trend arrows, focus terms, and per-run headlines.

  4. Feature

Subscribers — share a cron with people who matter

Invite up to 20 people per cron, depending on plan. Verified opt-in, private one-per-recipient delivery, manage everyone from one place.

  5. Platform

    Recron is live

After months of building, Recron is open for sign-ups. Pick a template, set a schedule, get a structured digest in your inbox.
